The Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Awards (the Awards) is an annual celebration, established in 1989, that recognises the outstanding contributions of individuals and groups of young people aged 12 to 25 years in the ACT.
The Awards honour those who have made a meaningful impact through personal achievement or active involvement in areas such as community service, sport, education, science, culture, the arts or environmental sustainability.
The Awards also celebrate exceptional personal achievements by individual young people who have shown determination, resilience or leadership in their own lives.
Nominations are invited across the below award categories:

- Environment and Sustainability Award
- Group Achievement Award
- Arts and Multimedia Award
