The ACT Government is committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and families through a coordinated, integrated and evidence-informed service system.
This includes a strong focus on strengthening families, supporting safe and stable environments, and enabling children and young people to thrive.
This grant forms part of the Child, Youth and Family Services Program (CYFSP), which funds services for children, young people and families whose needs are not met through universal services.
This stream focuses on targeted support services.
Funded services will provide structured, coordinated and individualised support to:
- respond to needs not met through universal or early support services
- address multiple or intersecting challenges
- support engagement with education, health and other community services
- provide coordination and navigation across the service system
Services are expected to deliver tailored responses that improve outcomes and reduce the need for more intensive or statutory interventions.
