About the Awards (Not Applicable)

The ACT Women's Awards recognise women, gender-diverse and non-binary people who live in the ACT region and are contributing to lasting and positive change. These Awards celebrate impact across all fields - from sport and science, to community, culture and beyond - and recognise achievements that make a difference locally, nationally or globally.

Winners of each category of the 2026 ACT Women's Awards will be automatically inducted into the ACT Women's Honour Roll.

Gender Equity and Social Change Award - Recognising advocacy, reform or initiatives that advance gender equity, inclusion or social change.

Minister's Impact Award - A discretionary category selected by the Minister, with an annually changing theme.

Note: The Minister's Impact Award is selected by the Minister. Nominators are not required to select this category. The Assessment Panel may assign relevant nominees to this category. The theme will be aligned to the Minister's emerging priorities and is confirmed following closure of nominations.
